Accidental Rudeness

Could there be any more accurate statement of our society’s behavior than that?! I’ll grant that the plethera of middle fingers and the amazing variety of foul, yet creative, phrases may not always be accidental, but perhaps some of the rudeness we encounter each day may actually be.
I have been out of the pulpit for two weekends in a row, so a desperate urge to preach may be building up inside of me, but could it be that we who claim to be Christ-followers may actually be best set to change that societal trend that Dumbledore so accurately observed?
What if we not only “didn’t try to be rude” but actually “tried not to be rude?” We may have to ignore Ryan Dobson’s absurd little book entitled Be Intolllerant (which I’ll admit I refuse to read simply because of the title). Oh well, I can think of worse things.
