Baby’s here

Just in case you don’t follow our baby blog…we’ve had our first child.

Her name is Sophia, she was born on Epiphany (January 6) at 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Her first 7 days of life included 6 days of blood tests to see if her bilirubin was adequately going down (Jaundice)…incidently, it was. She is now fine, beautiful, and a blessing (albeit a blessing that hasn’t learned to sleep at night) :-)

We’d covet your prayers…and yes, we know our lives “are changed forever” — everyone tells us that.

    Congratulations to both of you! She is a beautiful baby girl. I will refrain from meeting her until I shake this infection. I hopw you are getting some sleep.
