Hymnal & Songbook Survey

Religious February 25th, 2006

I’m just curious…what hymnals, songbooks, supplements or other musical resources do you have in your pews (or seats, etc.)

What do you like or not like about them?

Would you recommend them to anyone else?

Thanks!

Grace and Peace,
`tim

We do not have any in our pews. We do everything via projector and powerpoint. We do have NIV bibles in the pew.

We have “Rejoice in the Lord” in the pew racks, which did wonderfully good things and marvelously bad things when it took important steps forward 21 years ago, but the time has come and is passed for us to learn from and improve upon it.

We also make extensive use of “Sing! A New Creation” (thanks to copyright licenses), various Iona materials, and “Voices United,” in addition to a dozen or so other resources on a regular basis. I’d recommend any and all of those.
