Maybe a little Strange
You may consider this strange, but I LOVE General Synod.
This year, since my wife used up much of her vacation time with maternity leave, our vacation amounts don’t match up, so I’m taking a week of vacation and heading down to Synod — for the fun of it. Yes, “the fun” of it. To make matters even more enjoyable, I have an Elder delegate from my church (Ron), his wife (Carolyn) and a corresponding delegate college student from my church attending too (Tom).
Rounding off the glorious possibilities of the week, I’m taking Phia with me. Going to start her early on this Synod thing — She’ll be 5 months old!

Of course, it’s in .pdf, which means that you can’t make comments on it…I have a remedy for that too JAWS PDF Editor. I’m still in the free trial period, but it’s AWESOME. You can hi-light text and put little “sticky-notes” in a (non-editable) .pdf file. I don’t really like actually buying software (I prefer to use open source and shareware/freeware) but this is one I’m going to purchase. Check it out.
