Another “test”

Just for the fun of it; I guess it’s not a bad way to come out for an RCA guy….

You scored as Calvin. You are John Calvin. You have a Nestorian Christology and separate the Divinity and Humanity of Jesus. You believe only those who have faith are united to Christ, who is present spiritually, yet you call this “Real.”

Tim,
Just came across your blog. Good stuff brother!
BTW: The idea that Calvin was Nestorian in his Christology is simply unfair (as you may already be aware). IMO, he was completely in line with Chalcedonian orthodoxy. I’ve read nothing in his thought which would indicate otherwise; and I’ve read him somewhat extensively. So, if you do indeed hold to the same views which Calvin held, don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re a Nestorian.
Blessings,
Jon

Thanks for the note!
The Nestorian comment is well taken; I think it’s a rather unfair accusation both of Calvin (and, if I may suggest it) of me.
I don’t know that I can honestly say I hold the same views as Calvin did, although I seek to in many ways.
Please stay and comment. I just found your blog as well and look forward to further interaction.

O.K., I came out more Calvinist than you (is that possible?), also more Lutheran and more Unitarian (not hard, of course), though I don’t understand how that last one, as small as it was, came in.

Possible? Probably…but by you James? I think maybe you cheated
Perhaps the breakdown in the test is that it actually allows one to test “highly” in both Calvinist and Unitarian… I would tend to imagine them as incompatible.
