PreMarital Counseling
Author: teejtc / Category: ReligiousI know there aren’t that many people out there reading this… but… those of you who do: What do you do for premarital counseling?
Do you use FOCCUS? PREPARE/ENRICH? Something else? Do you have a set “curriculum?” If you use an inventory — do you know of one that isn’t as expensive as FOCCUS or PREPARE (I know they’re not unreasonable, but if there was something good out there that didn’t cost so much, that’d be great!)
Thanks!

I have been using a rather ad hoc approach to PreMarital Counseling that has not worked well. So this past winter, I took the Prepare/Enrich training. I’ve only used it once so far, but I am very happy with it.

Kathleen and I have a self-created inventory that we (mostly she) prepared, and which I use as a beginning for pre-marital conversations.
