Actually, if you read my latest post, you’ll see that the problem you mentioned was immediately recognized by some of the members of my congregation. I’m certainly not a “business-model” minister, but I don’t have an answer to the question of: How can they do that in the church if we can’t do that in the business world?

The every-household program was created by a DEDICATED assessment for the CH (not for communications; history doesn't change no matter how many times people say it did). Simply sliding it over into "Our Call" funding was dishonest, lazy, and beneath a Synod that did what this one did on Monday. Not that I have an opinion or anything.
