Favorite Section from Yesterday’s Sermon
My favorite section from yesterday’s sermon:
…I think the most controversial thing about these three pillars we’re studying isn’t what they’re about. We know Devotion and Discipleship are important; we understand the necessity of Ministry & Justice, and Worship & Honor make sense to us. The controversial thing is getting past the idea that Christianity is a willy-nilly, religion with no real expectations of us. We’ve had grace and mercy shoved down our throats so forcefully that we’ve thrown the baby of faithfulness and holiness out with the bathwater of legalism. any comments?
