You may or may not have noticed….

You may or may not have noticed that this blog doesn’t have a lot of readers (or at least a lot of comment-ers); that means that it’s entirely irrelevant whether I put up strange content that few people would find interesting. This may seem like one of those things, but at least I know Kathy will appreciate it.

I started knitting about the same time I started tatting (around the age of 12). I’ve made hats, scarves, sweaters and socks… but never done a stitch any more difficult than a seed stitch (which, for those of you who don’t knit, is VERY simple). In any case, I spend some time over at MenWhoKnit.Com and one of the participants there (MMario) posted a simple “Faux Spanish Lace” pattern for a shawl. It looked easy enough (even for me!) and I fell in love with it so decided to give it a try. There are a few booboos, but oh well. I’m happy with it.

Here’s a closer pic. of the pattern:

Our annual harvest festival at church is this Saturday, I’m donating the shawl to it… Hope it goes well!
Grace and peace,
