A Blessed Christmas to You and Yours

Posted by teejtc on December 24th, 2007 filed in Announcements

I should probably admit, I have had less interest in the “season” this year than most. Indeed, Christmas has felt far more chore-full than cheerful (even my puns aren’t really all that great this year!)  Yet, I would be immensely amiss if I didn’t extend my warmest greetings and sincere hope for a blessed […]

Merry Underwater Christmas

Posted by teejtc on December 19th, 2007 filed in Knitting & Tatting

Every once in a while I have the privilege of helping Peggy Kurpinski, owner of Adventures in Diving, with a “try scuba.” A “try scuba” is just that - it’s a chance for people who have a little interest in scuba diving to give it a try under closely supervised and carefully managed conditions […]

I jumped on the bandwagon

Posted by teejtc on December 18th, 2007 filed in Knitting & Tatting

A little story for you: when I was in high school, “everyone” was ridiculously obsessed with evolution. I […]

Posted by teejtc on December 6th, 2007 filed in Knitting & Tatting, Thesis

Well, I officially reached the half-way point on the labyrinth I’ve been knitting.  It’s not the best picture, but you can see how it’s turning out.  I’m pretty happy with it:

Oh, and what do you think of my Habaneros?!  (It finally put on some peppers!)
As for my thesis proposal, I’m afraid no news… ugh.  Trying […]

Hopefully?!

Posted by teejtc on December 4th, 2007 filed in Religious

The past week has been incredibly busy. Sunday was… (1) the first Sunday of Advent, (2) a communion Sunday, and (3) our annual congregational meeting (which we held, for the first time, on a Sunday hoping to get better participation - which it did!) On top of that, I’ve been frantically working on […]
