Labyrinth Finished… Happy 33rd to me!
Unbeknownst to me, without any intention to do so whatsoever, I managed to finish the final touches on my labyrinth just as the clock was turning over to my 33rd birthday. Fun. huh?! Anyhow, just thought I’d share. Here’s a pic.
Obviously, it pulls a little in the middle (maybe some light blocking will fix that, we’ll see). Oh, and yes, it IS backwards - this is an original chart AND the first time I ever used a chart… apparently you’re supposed to start in the lower RIGHT corner, not the lower left. Oh well; live and learn.
All in all though, I’m really happy with it.
Here’s a finished (unblocked) pic:

The pulling in through the middle section likely has to do with the fact that you’ve got a lot more stranded work going on through there than at the top of bottom, rather than a big difference in tension, per se. It looks as though you should be able to block it into shape very easily, though. Very nice work!
And a very happy birthday to you. This is quite the week for birthdays. I know personally of 6 people with birthdays between last Saturday and this Thursday.

Thanks for the advice Mel… I wondered if the stranding was maybe part of the reason it pulled in. I’ve pinned it down and sprayed it with warm water. It seems to be taking its shape pretty well. I’ll post a pic when it’s done.
As for January… I know what you’re talking about, there seem to be a lot of birthdays around here too. May must be a romantic month
