Pride Ride, Here I come…
Biking (with pedals!) May 4th, 2008
Actually, it’s not what you think, there aren’t any rainbows involved with this one.
Pride=A Group of Lions…
It’s a fund-raising gig for the local Lion’s Club (which I don’t know much about, but they raise money for the likes of glasses, hearing aids, United Way, etc.) It’s on Saturday, May 17th (the morning after our all-church picnic) and there are 25 KM (15ish miles), 50 KM (30ish miles) and 100 KM (62ish miles) routes — I’m tentatively planning on the 100 KM route.
Would love to have someone else join me (although, don’t worry I don’t expect you to ride at my typically-tortoise-pace)
