An Historic Event
Synod 2008 June 9th, 2008
For the first time ever, the RCA just elected an African American to be vice president. James Seawood will be vice-president by tomorrow night and (barring an unforseen events) will be elected president a year from now.
I will post a picture when I get one. For now, let me know that James is responsible for taking me to my first entirely African American worship service some 12 or 14 years ago.
